So here is the plan. Cameron and I are planning on taking off in the beginning of January 2011. We are both from Texas, so that makes Texas the logical starting point. Due to uncertainties of safety south of the border, we might have to forgo the first stop of the trip, skipping out on El Potrero Chico and instead head west to El Paso. Just outside of El Paso there is a small unknown bouldering area called Hueco Tanks. From there, we will steadily head north and west as the warming temps of spring roll in.
Below you can see a very rough timeline of our trip. One of the joys this trip will be the lack of commitment to any set plan, so I expect this timeline will change drastically over the course of the trip.
